The house

A flock of birds gives Parvada its name (parvada means flock), and the name repeats throughout, from the young red called Cardenal (cardinal) to the restaurant, Nido (nest). The house was born in 2017 and five years later its Reserva 2018, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Tempranillo with a year in barrel, won Grand Gold at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, which also gave it the title of Mexico's Revelation Wine.

A group of business owners founded it on the highway to General Cepeda, in Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila. In 2018 the Spanish winemaker Lucía García Alonso arrived, who had worked harvests in Chile, Spain, and Germany, and that year the first wines went on sale. Every year she chooses the barrels that best tell the story of the harvest for the Winemaker's Selection.

Parvada is a residential development with a winery and a wine experience. It sells lots, some with their own vineyard, and in its vineyard it grows Caladoc, a cross of Grenache and Malbec that, according to the house, it alone works in the Valle de Parras.

Around it are walnut groves, gardens, event halls, the restaurant Nido Kitchen, a shop with a café, and a hotel operated by Lumina.

You can spend the whole day, with a tour and a tasting, a picnic among the vines on weekends, lunch at Nido, and a night at the hotel. The shop, with its café, opens every day, and Nido serves breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m..
