Aguascalientes Wine Route and Wineries, Mexico
In the 1970s, most of the grapes of Aguascalientes went into brandy. Today the state's wine route is centered on Pabellón de Arteaga, north of the city of Aguascalientes.
The wineries are in communities of the municipality, such as Ampliación Ejido Garabato (an ejido is a communal farming community), on the road from Valladolid to Emiliano Zapata, and San Luis de Letras. Other houses are in the city of Aguascalientes and in towns such as Cosío, Jesús María, and San Francisco de los Romo.
