The place
Gaia Xtreme, an adventure tourism operator in Monterrey, runs a one-day tour to Parras de la Fuente with a predawn departure. The bus reaches the town around 11 a.m. and heads back at 6 p.m., to be in Monterrey by 11:30 p.m. The route passes the Santo Madero viewpoint, the Tienda de la Mezclilla, Bodegas Fuantos, the Estanque de la Luz when it is open, the Antigua Hacienda de Perote, with a shop and wine tasting, and the Casa Madero shop. It includes round-trip transportation, traveler's insurance, and agency staff. Meals, tips, and admission fees are paid separately. It accepts children from age three and groups of up to 30 people, and has two departures a month.
