About this event
Vendimias Guanajuato (the Guanajuato grape harvest season) is how the state celebrates the harvest. The 2026 edition brings together 16 wine tourism experiences between August 1 and October 18, spread across vineyards and venues in Dolores Hidalgo, San Miguel de Allende, Irapuato, and Silao, and the state tourism office (Secretaría de Turismo) promotes it.
Each harvest festival is run by its own venue and has its own format, schedule, price, and capacity. According to the official presentation, the season includes grape stomping, vineyard tours, tastings, food offerings, music, and meetings with producers, but not every date offers the same, so check each one before you buy.
In mid-September eight celebrations were still to come, and they are listed below with their dates and venues. The season closes the weekend of October 17 and 18 with Mientras Tanto un Vino (Meanwhile, a Wine) at the Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario in Silao.
