The Universidad Tecnológica de San Miguel de Allende (UTSMA, a technical university) holds the fourth edition of its Festival de la Vendimia Universitaria (University Harvest Festival) on Friday, October 9, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m., on its own campus. It is one of the celebrations in the official Vendimias Guanajuato 2026 program.
Unlike the harvest festivals held in vineyards, the venue here is a university: official promotion speaks of tastings, workshops, and showcases of regional wines, with Guanajuato producers and food offerings. It is a good chance to approach wine through the training of the people who will make it in the coming years.
