Mientras Tanto un Vino (Meanwhile, a Wine) brings Guanajuato wine producers together every year at the Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario in Silao de la Victoria. The 2026 edition, the tenth, takes place on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, and closes the official Vendimias Guanajuato program.
Unlike the harvest festivals held in vineyards, everything is concentrated in one place here, which makes it easy to compare wines from different wineries in the state in a single visit. In 2025, its ninth edition combined tastings, music, and an autumn pumpkin festival. The 2026 program does not yet appear in the sources consulted.
It is a practical choice for anyone traveling through the Bajío region of central Mexico who wants a first look at Guanajuato wine without going vineyard by vineyard along the route.
