Editorial review · reviewed on October 11, 2026The name Viña Magal joins those of two grandparents, María and Galdino, and the wine remembers where the land comes from. Galdino worked that plot as a sharecropper, one of the parsioneros whom, after the Revolution, landowners paid with a piece of farmland, and there he raised his family for more than half a century.
Today his descendants grow a little over 10 acres (4 hectares) of vines in Tequisquiapan and make Parsionero by hand, a wine that bears the name of those sharecroppers. The visit combines a tour, a tasting, and a talk on how the wine is made, with regional cheeses and cold cuts, and the terrace, with a view of the vineyard, can be rented for events.
