The house
The idea behind Terra Serena was to preserve a landscape before filling bottles. A group of business owners and activists set out to protect the central part of the Cañón de la Roja, in the Sierra de Arteaga, Coahuila, and in 2019 planted three hectares (about 7 acres) of trellised vines there, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon as the main varieties.
Among the vineyard, two lakes, and the mountain, the house offers guided tastings that visit four points of the estate, with storytelling and music. There is a lodging unit for couples, a picnic area, and an esplanade for weddings and celebrations. Tastings are scheduled online and offered from Wednesday through Sunday.
