The place
Culinary Art School is a cooking school with a campus in Tijuana, Baja California, and its studies include wine. Its listing at the Wine Scholar Guild, the organization that accredits the programs, records three courses: French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Essentials, and Spanish Wine Essentials, study programs on the wines of France, Italy, and Spain. When checked, the guild had no sessions scheduled. Anyone who wants to study wine without leaving the northern border will find a place here to train before visiting Guadalupe Valley (Valle de Guadalupe), or after touring it, to organize what they learned. According to a university directory, the school also offers diploma programs, including one in sommelier studies and grape growing, along with short courses. Its site presents the wine branch under the name Wine Art School and publishes a blog with recent posts. Ask the school for its course calendar before planning a trip.
