The place
In unit 5 at 2511 Avenida Jalisco, in Tijuana, gSalinas Enoteca works as a wine bar and a shop at once. The selection leans on Guadalupe Valley, though there are labels from other countries too, and the shelves also sell beer and spirits. A travel guide reports that every other day a different wine is opened to taste by the glass, with the aim of making Mexican wines better known. You can also order a bottle to drink there, for a corkage fee. The menu adds small plates to go with the wine. Another shop in the city shares the owner's surname but is a different business. Because the hours do not agree between its pages, the safe move is to check its Instagram the day you visit.
