The place
Morris Wine Bar occupies the top floor of the Hotel Boutique Lafayette, at 926 Avenida Revolución, in Tijuana's Zona Centro. The room is double height, with arched shelves lit from behind and period chandeliers over the bar. The by-the-glass list changes often and brings together wines from small producers in Mexico and other countries. The bar kitchen serves a seasonal menu, and the house cocktail list keeps the classics, among them the espresso martini. It opens in the afternoon and evening, Tuesday through Sunday, and closes on Mondays. About 68 miles (109 km) from Guadalupe Valley, it works to open or close the wine route with a glass in downtown Tijuana, and if you are staying at the Lafayette, you only need to change floors. The hours come from listings and not from the bar, so confirm them on its social media.
