About this event
Tres Raíces, the vineyard estate, restaurant, and hotel on the highway between San Miguel de Allende and Dolores Hidalgo, is preparing the sixth edition of Entre Vinos y Muertos (Among Wine and the Dead). The vineyard's online store describes a Day of the Dead night with a welcome mezcalita (a mezcal cocktail) and calavera, a three-course dinner, white and red wine, a live DJ, a catrina contest (catrinas are elegantly dressed skeleton figures), and a traditional ofrenda (altar).
The vineyard's sales page describes the program but gives no date. Friday, October 30, 2026, comes from a calendar of Mexican wineries that cites the Tres Raíces store, and we have not seen it on an organizer channel. For that reason the date is to be confirmed.
The store also announces free transportation from San Miguel de Allende and a special menu for children, and it clarifies that additional drinks are not included.
