The house
For some twenty years the Vinos Vitali winery was closed, until in 2000 the grandson of the man who opened it in 1948 reopened it. Colonel Nicolás Ferriño Ramos founded it and the engineer Sergio Ferriño Vitali returned it to the town of Cuatro Ciénegas. Although it shares a surname with Bodegas Ferriño, it is a different house.
It makes sweet wine the way the town does, with the family recipe. Its flagship is ARFI, a sweet red, and the range is completed by a port-style wine and a sweet rosé. The visit goes through the winery and ends in a tasting with a pairing. In the summer of 2026 the house held its first harvest festival of its own, with grape stomping open to the public, as part of Cuatro Ciénegas's grape festivities.
