The house
Rancho Santa Mónica is about ten minutes from the Feria de San Marcos, and the López family has devoted it to wine since 1980. To taste there you do not need to leave the capital of Aguascalientes.
The house presents its Cabernet Sauvignon as its flagship wine, and its Primera Piedra, a Merlot from the 2021 vintage, took part in the Concurso de Vinos Hidrocálidos in 2024. It announces a guided tasting with a tasting class, although we have not yet confirmed how and when it receives visitors.
