The place
From Plaza Alberia, in the colonia Circunvalación Norte, the travel agency Navegantes Travel runs Ruta del Vino Ags, the site where it gathers its tours of vineyards, wineries, and haciendas in Aguascalientes. There are departures to vineyards and haciendas, for couples and for companies, others that add a hotel or a meal with wine shops, and trips to the state's Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns). The private winery tour lasts about seven hours, visits two wineries of the Wine Route with a tasting of three wines at each, and comes with a guide for your group only and pickup and return to the hotel. Outside the state, the agency publishes wine trips to Italy, Chile, and Argentina. Local tours are booked ahead.
