The house
A couple, Josefa Jonguitud and Douglas Henning, founded Puente Josefa in 2007 in La Candelaria, in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende.
Among cactus, gardens, and stone paths grow about 7 acres (3 hectares) of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Tempranillo, and Syrah, with a small cellar. Alegría, a red of Tempranillo and Syrah, is one of its labels. Guided tastings, pairings, and tours are always booked ahead, online.
