Editorial review · reviewed on October 11, 2026Two colonial chapels built for Indigenous communities (capillas de indios) still stand inside the hacienda where the Los Remedios vines grow. The Franciscans built them when they were evangelizing the area.
The estate occupies lands of the Hacienda Rinconcillo de los Remedios, in the Chamacuero valley, municipality of Comonfort. The house dates the hacienda to around 1700, other sources to the 19th century, and rebuilt it with materials of its era. About 20 acres (8 hectares) of Tempranillo, Syrah, and Malbec surround the main compound. You visit to taste, walk the vineyard and the orchard, and eat at the restaurant, and two rooms with a pool let you stay. The hacienda also hosts events.
