The house

Walnut trees and vines share the land of Hacienda del Marqués, in the Valle de Parras. The Madero Ruiz family founded it in 2010 as a boutique winery, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, and Malbec among the trees of the area's other traditional crop.

The Huno line is made up of single-variety reds aged in American oak barrels, and the house also makes blends from the same grapes. In Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila, it offers tours of the walnut grove and the vineyard, a tasting, and a restaurant, and it is best to book before you go.
