The house
In Cosío, north of Aguascalientes, Viñedos El Potrerito began planting vines in 2009 and two years later added Macabeo, a white grape of Spanish origin. With it came Fumata Blanca, the label of its winery, Arte y Fuego, and its first harvest, the 2018, won a silver medal at México Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2019.
The state's tourism guides presented it as a country visit, with a vineyard tour told through the legends of the town, the estate's sheep raising, and a pairing of the wine with cheeses.
