The place

Si Mon is devoted to Mexican wine and stocks close to two hundred labels, some of them natural, ranging from Guadalupe Valley to Guanajuato. The room on Calle Zacatecas is small and feels like a basement, with brick ceilings and walls and dim light. Wine comes by the glass or by the bottle, and any bottle from the shop can be opened right there. To go with it there are Mexican cheeses and tapas. It was once a closed space for tastings, until it opened as a wine bar.
