The place

Oropel is a vermouth bar in Roma Norte where what matters happens on the sidewalk, with tables against the wall under a giant hand-painted sign that says amor (love). Inside it is narrow. The list has more than twenty vermouths with uncommon natural wines, beer, and mezcal shots. There is no dinner menu, but there are snacks, such as bread with ham and tinned sardines, and every so often there are nights with a guest chef.
