The place

Hiya occupies the back of Yoru, a sushi restaurant on Calle Sinaloa, in Roma Norte. It cannot be seen from the sidewalk, and the door is recognized by the people waiting outside. The bar is Japanese-inspired, with sake by the carafe or the bottle, wine from small wineries, and cocktails. Small plates, robata, and temakis come out of the kitchen, and one of the most ordered is the clam ramen with house-made noodles.
