The place
On Calle Argentina in Guadalajara, El Corcho has the feel of a house and serves wine from Mexico and abroad, as well as beer. The kitchen mixes Spanish and Mexican in potato chips, wontons, and asparagus to nibble on, and in tapas, boards, chistorra, and pizza. Main dishes include tuna, rib eye, and lasagna, and for dessert chocolate volcano cake, churros, and crème brûlée. On Mondays and Fridays it opens from the morning, serving lunch and drinks, and it has held tastings and pairings, such as one of organic cavas.
