The house

Daniel Lonnberg, a Chilean winemaker trained at the University of Chile, came to Ensenada to work with Domecq, stayed on in 2005, and founded Vinsur in 2008. The winery's address is in El Sauzal, at number 990 on the highway from Ensenada to Tecate, alongside other small houses. He also advises other wineries in the region.

He aims for boutique wines without complications, where fruit leads and the mouthfeel is round. Literal joins Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Cañada de los Encinos pairs Zinfandel with Petit Verdot. Reflejo is a blend of Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. How the winery receives visitors has not been confirmed yet.
