The house
Viñas del Tigre is the project of the Quesada Lucero family, which began in 2006 in Valle del Tigre, about 2 miles (3 km) from the Pacific Ocean. It is a micro-winery: according to its importer it makes about 600 cases a year from an organically farmed vineyard.
The family farms sustainably, uses spontaneous fermentations, and appears among the producers at Mexico's natural wine fairs. Its Tigre Tinto blends Merlot, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Whether it receives visitors is not yet confirmed, and the best way to find out is to message them on social media.
