The house
Las Cruces was designed to receive people. The family that runs it built, in the Emiliano Zapata ejido (a communal farming community) in Pabellón de Arteaga, a complex of Mexican colonial architecture with vaults, brick, stone, and adobe, and it is open every day of the year.
The winery has four wines. Matías is a Macabeo white, Luciana a Syrah rosé, Amelie a red of Merlot, Malbec, and Syrah, and the one that carries the vineyard's name, a red of Salvador and Carignan. Beyond the glass, the estate offers vineyard tours, horseback rides, a restaurant, picnics, and lodging, and grape stomping at harvest.
