The house
Venado, a municipality on the Altiplano Potosino in San Luis Potosí, stands out from the neighboring towns for a stream that crosses it, born from a spring. Parras del Altiplano makes wine there. The winery began in Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, and its founder, born in Venado, brought it back to his hometown.
The house defines itself by natural and handcrafted wine, with semi-dry and dry reds, some with six months in white oak barrels, and traditional-method sparkling wines that it sells in its shop. On the same grounds is the hotel Los 7 Callejones, with a pool and a garden. The vendimia is held every summer (the 2025 one was on August 2), and the house announces periodic tours.
