The place
Surya occupies a vineyard hillside at the km 87 marker of Mexico Federal Highway 3, in San Antonio de las Minas. It is a hotel and a winery at once: the rooms look onto the private vineyard, and the cellar for the Vinos 87 line is on the same grounds. The hotel's categories are Classic Room, Terraza Suite, Vista Viñedo Suite, and Surya Suite. It has 18 rooms, and several are set up for guests who travel with a dog. The restaurant, Lupe 87, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the hotel organizes weddings. Travelers with a dog are welcome here, and a group finds hotel, wine, and restaurant without changing location. For the 2026 harvest, the site posts a seasonal promotion, with stays possible through November 19.
