The place
Quinta Sofía is an adults-only country lodging on the Tecate to Ensenada highway, at km 92, in San Antonio de las Minas. It looks out over vineyards and hills and is run by its owners. There is one room with two beds, plus chalets with one or two bedrooms, all with air conditioning, a terrace onto the garden, and a roomy shower. Breakfast is included, and the grounds have an outdoor fireplace, a grill, and wellness packages. House rules limit each stay to four people. Check-in runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and check-out is at noon. Payment in full is due at booking, unless the date is more than six months away, in which case half is enough.
