The place
Ensenada Excursions & Tours specializes in private transfers between the border and Guadalupe Valley. Its tours last ten to twelve hours, come with a professional driver who speaks English and Spanish, and let you add hours of tasting. One of its routes includes a stop at Bodegas de Santo Tomás, the oldest winery in Baja California, founded in 1888. It picks up in Tijuana, at the border crossings, at the airport, or in Tecate. That range covers the typical visitor who arrives from San Diego and does not want to drive the valley highway. There are two phone lines, one in Ensenada and one with a U.S. area code, and reservations can also be made by email and through its site.
