The place
Caimán is just a bar, with no restaurant behind it, which is rare in Condesa. The bar pours wine, cocktails, mezcal, and beer, from ice-cold beer to a negroni, and at night it fills with dressed-up neighbors and people passing through. Tinned seafood leads the snacks, mussels, anchovies, and sardines, alongside crunchy, salty bar snacks. It opens Wednesday through Sunday, from afternoon to night, on Avenida Nuevo León.
