About this event
The Food & Wine Festival is the annual food gathering that the magazine Food & Wine en Español promotes in Mexico City. The 2026 edition is on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, at the Jardines de Campo Marte, with the theme Mirando al Sur (Looking South).
Rather than a wine festival, it is a food fair to walk through, tasting as you go. It announces more than 80 chefs and, this year, adds cuisines from Costa Rica, Roatán, and Peru, wines from Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina, and a space devoted to barbecue (asados). It also presents the Best New Chefs 2026, the magazine's annual selection of emerging cooks.
It suits anyone who enjoys going from station to station and tasting between dishes. Anyone looking exclusively for Mexican wine will find a more focused offer at other festivals in this listing.
