About this event
Alineados (Aligned) is a four-course paired lunch at the vineyard of Vinos San Juan de la Vaquería, in the Derramadero Valley south of Saltillo. It takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the cooking is in the hands of a guest chef from La Canasta.
After the meal, as the afternoon fades, the gathering moves out among the vines with wine, stargazing, and a bonfire. The winery ties the date to the alignment of Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus visible before dawn. The menu and the wine for each course have not been published yet.
The estate has grown grapes since 2008 next to an old hacienda on the Camino Real (the colonial royal road) and makes a Verdejo, a rosé, and red wine. Seats are limited, and a reservation is confirmed only with advance payment in the winery's online store.
