The house

Patricio Quesada wanted a company with room for his wife and daughters, and founded it between 2016 and 2017 in the Santa María de Gallardo valley, at 6,460 ft (1,970 m). It is a young winery that works in small lots, with modern equipment and handcrafted processes.

It has nearly 30 acres (12 hectares) with seven varieties: Chardonnay, Viognier, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Almost everything it bottles is a blend, and not always of grapes of the same color. Deseo Indómito mixes Syrah with a touch of Viognier, and Épico, the most ambitious wine, blends the three Bordeaux grapes from its best vines and spends 20 months in barrel.

The range is organized in lines with their own names. Estoico brings the two-grape blends, with the Tempranillo Merlot at 60 and 40 percent and the Viognier Chardonnay in the same proportions, Deseo Indómito carries the Syrah, and Eszencia is the rosé.

At the International Awards Virtus 2026, held in La Rábida, Spain, Épico and the Estoico Tempranillo Merlot each received a grand gold medal, and the Estoico Viognier Chardonnay, gold. The vineyard receives visitors, about twenty minutes from the city of Aguascalientes according to the house. You can eat facing the rows, with a view of the valley, and taste the wines where they are made.

The wines

Almost everything is a blend, with Viognier and Chardonnay, Tempranillo and Merlot, or Syrah with a little Viognier. It also makes a rosé and a Bordeaux-style flagship red with 20 months in barrel, always in limited volumes.
