The place
Viña Calabria is a private country house inspired by the haciendas and vineyards of Tuscany, with five suites named for birds and barrels: Barrel Suite, Colibrí, Paloma, Golondrina, and Alondra. Golondrina is a junior suite with a patio, Colibrí has a queen bed, a balcony, and a patio, and Alondra is a chalet with hill views. Breakfast uses organic ingredients and comes with the stay. The site also lists in-room coffee, a minibar, wifi, parking, bicycles, picnic spots, massages, private airport transfers, and wine tours. Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., and check-out is before noon. The house is on Highway 3 in Villa de Juárez, in Guadalupe Valley. Reservations are taken on WhatsApp. The house also arranges transfers and wine tours, so nobody has to drive between tastings. It is a small place built for a couple or a pair of couples.
