Villa Antigua

The place

Mexican colonial architecture and wide gardens surround Villa Antigua Hotel y Centro de Convenciones, at km 11.5 of the highway from San Juan del Río to Tequisquiapan. The center of town is about 10 minutes away, on the cheese, art, and wine route. The rooms run from standard and two-story superior rooms to suites with a jacuzzi, all with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a desk, and a safe. Outside there are three pools, an outdoor jacuzzi, a spa, a gym, and a tennis court, and the restaurant bar serves international cooking. The convention center offers 5,400 square feet (500 square meters) and four meeting rooms with a projector, audio, and internet, and the hotel also hosts weddings and social gatherings.
