The place
On the highway to Pichilingue, at the km 5.5 marker, SeaSide opens its room toward La Paz Bay, with access through the Hotel La Concha. The cooking is Mediterranean and international and centers on a wood-fired oven in plain view, which cooks the fish of the day, and on house-made pasta. Among its dishes are the octopus salad, the fish with capers and old-style mustard on carrot puree, and the pasta with shrimp and pancetta. The sunset bar serves cocktails and wines as the light falls on the water. The restaurant opens every day from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and hosts romantic dinners, private events, and weddings. It asks you to reserve ahead, especially on weekends and at sunset.
