The place
Palazzo del Valle is a winery with rooms, built to look like an Italian palace, in Ejido El Porvenir, parcel 52, on the road to Francisco Zarco. (An ejido is a farming community that holds its land in common.) Its wines are sold under the Vitruvius label, and the website adds a kitchen section and another for private events. Most rooms are for two adults, and a few sleep four. They come with robes and a bathroom with a separate shower. A hot breakfast is included. Guests can use an Italian-inspired pool, a spa with a zen garden and massages, a Nordic sauna, and a solarium, and those areas are for guests only. It is a place for couples who want to sleep at the same winery they visit, and for anyone planning a wedding or a private gathering.
