Off Road Tours VDG (VDG is short for Valle de Guadalupe) runs guided ATV tours along the roads of El Porvenir, in Guadalupe Valley. They last one or two hours, on single, double or side-by-side vehicles, so you can go alone, as a couple or as a group. All tours use protective gear. The two-hour tour combines the ride with a winery visit and tasting. According to travel listings, the route passes about ten vineyards and wineries before reaching a lookout and the winery for the tasting. The company is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the extended experience departs at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The meeting point is on the Las Lomas to El Tigre stretch, kilometer 2.9, Parcela 209 Ampliación, in El Porvenir. You are asked to reserve 24 hours ahead, by phone, and it helps to wear clothes that can pick up some dust.
