The place
MeroToro brings to Mexico City the cooking of Baja California, the same that goes with the wines of Guadalupe Valley. It is at Ámsterdam 204, on a tree-lined street in the Hipódromo neighborhood, and its plates are simple and direct, with meat and seafood in balance. The menu is updated daily with what comes into the kitchen, with seasonal vegetables and herbs from Mexico. The 2026 Michelin Guide points to the fish ceviche tostada, the battered soft-shell crab, the creamy rice with shrimp, and the braised oxtail, and also lists a tasting menu. There is a terrace and a contemporary-style dining room.
