The place
Maglén Resort shares its grounds with its winery, at kilometer 90.8 of the highway from Ensenada to Tecate, in Las Lomas. Its 60 rooms are divided into four concepts, Tesela, Encinal, Villas and Glamping, and each has its own pool, jacuzzi and gardens. The website mentions a freshwater pool and another outdoor one. The food comes in three places. Yumano cooks from the flavors of the first peoples of Baja California, Aromas is a coffee shop, and Ruta 90.8, named for the kilometer marker, is a brewery. Maglén winery receives visitors on the same property. Hotel, cellar and food share the grounds, so if you arrive on the highway from Ensenada to Tecate you can taste wine without thinking about getting back behind the wheel.
