Editorial review · reviewed on October 11, 2026Wine and hotel share an address at the km 90.8 marker of the highway from Ensenada to Tecate: Maglén is the winery of Maglén Resort, in the stretch of Las Lomas and San Antonio de las Minas. Its wines are signed by winemaker Manuel Montoya, who also leads the tastings and says he looks for balanced wines made with the Mexican palate in mind.
The first line is called Maglén and brings together classic wines. In 2018 came Saga, with Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Nebbiolo bottled on their own, and a blend of Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, and Nebbiolo. The visit passes through the tasting room, the production area, the barrel room, and the vineyard, and is booked online.
