The place
On Avenida Heroico Colegio Militar, in the Reforma neighborhood of Oaxaca de Juárez, the Club del Vino works as a shop and selected cellar, with Mexican and international wines and, beside the bottles, charcuterie, cheeses, olives, and bread to bring to the table. The program revolves around tasting. On Saturdays there are themed nights, such as Malbec and Argentina or Cabernet with character, and on Thursdays a book club meets with wine. Its tastings have featured whites from Rueda and labels from Baja California. Club members get priority access to events, and the house's calendar also lists the Festival del Vino en Oaxaca (the Oaxaca wine festival), on the old road to San Jacinto Amilpas.
