The place
Eight cabins on the El Tigre to Guadalupe road, at the km 18.5 marker, make up La Catrina del Valle, which the site also writes as Catrina Valle. The traditional cabin has one bedroom with a king bed for two people. The premium has two bedrooms with queen beds and sleeps four. All include a kitchenette with a microwave. Outside are an outdoor pool, parking, internet, housekeeping, and a terrace where smoking is allowed. The common room has a dining table, a plasma television, and a bar with a coffee maker and microwave. The hotel offers transfers between the airport and the lodging and stores luggage. It is about a two-minute drive from the Casa Frida winery. The cabins serve families and small groups who prefer their own kitchenette and taking turns at the pool.
