The place
On Calle Alejandro Dumas, in Polanco, Catamundi combines a chef-driven restaurant, a deli, and a gourmet shop, with catering service and a space for tastings. At the shop you can take home wines, breads, cookies, and chocolates. Wine has a program of its own. In August 2025 the Vendimia Catamundi (vendimia means grape harvest) was held, with more than fifteen national and international wineries, chef-driven cooking designed for pairing, and live music. The house's website keeps a page devoted to tastings, and wine events are announced when they are scheduled.
