How it works

Three steps, and the wine does the rest

  1. Step 1: You create it

Your email, a code and a public name. Free.

  2. Step 2: Visits

Mark the wineries you visit: each region gets stamped.

  3. Step 3: Show your Passport

When you arrive, for your welcome glass or your benefit.

The business may decline to serve it to anyone who is about to drive or has already been drinking.

Fan levels

The more you know about wine, the more exclusive events you get

Only reviews with a photo count toward your level. You move up with reviews that include a photo, of different wineries, in more regions, and over time. With a photo, your review is worth more: it raises your level. Your level shows next to your public name.

Invite your friends: each friend who publishes a first review with a photo helps you move up a level.

  1. Brote

    You start here

    When you create your Passport

The further you go in your Passport, the more access you get to exclusive wineries and tastings of rarer wines.

The invitations, glasses, discounts, early reservations, tastings and access are offered by each winery, place or organizer, subject to their availability and conditions, and are their responsibility, not that of Cities and Wines.

Your level doesn't depend on purchases, benefits or raffles: only on what you tell us about your visits.

How reviews work
Frequently asked questions

What you may be wondering before you create one

Is it really free?

Yes, free for life. It takes a minute to create: your email (you get a code), a public name and a password. We don't ask for your real name or your phone number.

How do I redeem the welcome glass?

In front of the staff, open the place in your Passport and tap “Redeem now”. Show them the screen: it has your name, the live time and a moving seal. It lasts 15 minutes.

You get one glass a year at each business. Each business gives it, not Cities and Wines, and asks nothing in return. For adults 18 and older only. Drinking too much alcohol is harmful to your health. The business may decline to serve it to anyone who is about to drive or has already been drinking.

Do I have to write a review or post something in return?

No. Neither the glass nor the wineries' benefits can ask for reviews, ratings or social media posts in return. The glass is free, with no purchase needed.

Where do I use it?

At the wineries and places in the guide that offer the welcome glass or a benefit. The conditions and how to ask for it are on their page, with your Passport. See the glass map.
