The place
The stone walls of the Hotel de Piedra face Calle Corregidora, in Bernal, at the foot of the Peña. It opened in 2017 and its restaurant, Benedetto, serves Mediterranean cooking every day, with wood-fired pizzas and the Noches Bohemias (Bohemian Nights), dinners with live music. Wine has its place in the Cava de Piedra, where the house wines are served with boards of cheeses and cold cuts, meant for quiet evenings facing the Peña. The bar prepares drinks in the restaurant until 11 p.m. The hotel has a heated pool, the Puerta Cielo spa, gardens, and a library with a view of the Peña. It belongs to the same project as Viñedo de Piedra, the winery that opened in 2026 in the Valle de Bernal.
