The place
This half-day tour leaves Hermosillo at 3 p.m. and returns at 8 p.m. It goes to the Hacienda de los Moreno, an estate with a vineyard and winery on the outskirts of the city, to get to know the wine of the Sonoran desert. At 3:30 p.m. it begins with a walk through the gardens, the pool, the church, and the stables. Then comes the guided tour of the vineyard, with an explanation of the grapes, the harvest, and the growing, and a visit to the barrel area and the bottling plant. The sommelier tasting is four glasses, two red, one white, and one rosé, and ends with a board of cheese, fruit, and chocolates. The outing includes round-trip transportation, an accredited guide, and accident and traveler's insurance. Tips and food outside the program are paid by the visitor.
