The place
The door of Casa Entrevez opens onto the main street of Francisco Zarco, and behind it is the Bodegas Entrevez winery. It is a family-run inn of eleven rooms named for municipalities in Puebla, such as the Master Suite Puebla and the Standard King rooms. There is parking, and continental breakfast is included. The winery has a tasting room and an underground cellar, and it takes private tastings. At the house guests play the Lotería del Vino, a game created by an artist in the family, and the winery adds a line of mezcal. Other Francisco Zarco wineries are nearby. Reception and reservations are open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., by phone or email. It is a practical address for anyone who wants to sleep in town, taste on the same grounds, and not drive at night.
