The house
Relieve takes its name from the topography of the valley: the hills that enclose it and the sea close by. The winery belongs to a family from San Antonio de las Minas, at the entrance to Guadalupe Valley (Valle de Guadalupe), and today Wenceslao Martínez runs it as producer and winemaker, continuing what his father started.
The house bottles single-variety reds in two lines. One is young and carries the Relieve name. The other is more ambitious, with two labels, Ovis, a Tempranillo, and Ciclo, a Nebbiolo, both with a year in barrel. You taste them on its terrace, on Calle Berilo in Villa de Juárez.
